One of a kind, Merano 2000 is located near Merano, a historic spa town. First you are immersed in the middle of nature, shortly after you find yourself walking through the streets of the center of Merano or at the spa to relax.

SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING
The wide slopes, the proximity to the city of Merano in South Tyrol, the small distances between one refuge and another and the many hours of sunshine make Merano 2000 the ideal place for a day of skiing with the whole family.
The little ones, helped by the numerous instructors of the Merano 2000 ski school, will be able to use the “magic carpets” of the snow kindergarten to face their first skiing experiences. The Outdoor Kids Camp is accessible for free.

NAIFJOCH SPECTACULAR PANORAMIC POINT
On board the new Naifjoch Cable Car. The view of the city of Merano and the surrounding mountain ranges widens by the minute. At the top, from the panoramic point, a breathtaking all-round view opens up.
GETTING AROUND ON 2 WHEELS WITH A MOUNTAIN BIKE
The helmet fits like a glove and the view is simply breathtaking. In the throes of running you feel the wind ruffling your hair, you breathe fresh mountain air and you let yourself be carried away…
Novice or more experienced cyclists can find in Merano 2000 a vast choice of spectacular itineraries that adapt to different levels of difficulty that lead to fascinating places and mountain huts that invite you to stop, enjoy the view and sunbathe.
VIA FERRATA HEINI HOLZER – ADVENTURE FOR LARGE AND SMALL CLIMBERS
The climb, which exceeds 550 m in altitude, made perfectly safe with 1,000 m of steel cable, has degrees of medium difficulty (A – B – B/C). The last stretch of the via ferrata, the so-called “Angel’s Edge” (Engelskante), in particular, is an impressive passage on rock.
The characteristics of this via ferrata also allow families with expert children at least 1.50 m tall to climb. Clearly, mature climbing experience is necessary.
PARAGLIDING… GETTING IN THE FLIGHT, GETTING AWAY FROM EVERYDAY LIFE
Flying is the dream of many… A paragliding flight cannot be described, you have to experience it in person!
The Tandemclub Ifinger takes flight with you and gives you the chance to experience this unforgettable experience flying between the mountains and above the city of Merano.
In total safety you can experience this adventure with a tandem flight accompanied by certified pilots.
30, 40, 60 minutes in the air or even a dawn flight with breakfast – choose what suits you best!
ALPIN BOB (Bob on Rail) – ADRENALINE AND FUN
In Merano 2000 you can sled even in summer! The Alpin Bob with a length of 1.1 km is an attraction for young and old with guaranteed fun.
The departure is located at the mountain station of the Falzeben cable car and cable car.
In just a few minutes you will speed through the woods on a path with curves, bumps and loops.
In summer it is also possible to get off at the end of the race to continue on foot to Falzeben, near Avelengo.
Once you return to the starting point you can purchase a souvenir photo.
OUTDOOR KIDS CAMP
In the Outdoor Kids Camp, located directly near the Merano 2000 mountain station, the little ones have the opportunity to train strength, balance, elevation and dexterity, preparing, in a playful way, for their next adventure in the mountains.
And while young explorers set out to discover the Outdoor Kids Camp, adults can enjoy a delicious snack or sip a refreshing drink at the Bistro Panorama located next door, without ever losing sight of their little ones.
The Outdoor Kids Camp, open every day from May to September, is freely accessible.
How to reach Merano 2000
The skiing and hiking area of Merano is located at the foot of the Picco Ivigna mountain and can be reached in a few minutes from the destinations of Merano, Avelengo, Scena and Tirolo.
The top of Merano 2000 can be reached with two different ski lifts and therefore has two valley stations, one in Merano with the cable car and one in Avelengo with the Falzeben cable car.
