Adrenaline, adventure and the mental challenge of orientation. Running through tangled woods, tackling steep slopes, crossing rivers or navigating urban mazes. This diversity adds an element of unpredictability and makes each orienteering activity a unique experience.
You will explore the forest hunting for “lanterns”, with the help of a compass and a topographic map.
Orienteering is a discipline that combines a passion for nature. Born as a sporting activity, orienteering has deep roots in the human ability to orient and navigate in natural environments, pushing people to explore the surrounding world in an active and conscious way.
In essence, orienteering is an activity in which participants must orient themselves along a predetermined route using only a map and a compass. The challenge is to find the fastest and most efficient way to reach a series of checkpoints scattered across a forested, mountainous or urban area. This requires not only good physical shape, but also map reading skills, the ability to make quick decisions and precise orientation.
One of the distinctive elements of orienteering is the variety of terrain in which it takes place.

The compass is a fundamental tool in orienteering, allowing participants to maintain precise direction even when the terrain becomes complicated. Learning to use the compass effectively is essential to successfully navigating through the various challenges that orienteering presents.
In addition to the competitive aspect, orienteering can be practiced at various levels, adapting to everyone’s needs and preferences. Some experience it as an individual challenge against the clock, while others participate in team events to share the experience with friends or family.
It is a training activity that develops concentration and a spirit of collaboration and, at the same time, is very fun. We therefore recommend it for Team Building experiences and for Schools.
We offer you different variations of Orienteering, such as the “Treasure Hunt”: find all the foods along the way and, at the end, you can enjoy a cheerful barbecue.
Orienteering can also be done on a mountain bike or in winter with snowshoes.
Finally, the most classic variant: “All against all”, or Teams: collaborate with the members of your group to finish the course.
Orienteering can be done all year round and in many situations.
