The METS – Museo Etnografico Trentino San Michele is one of the most important ethnographic museums in Italy and among the most significant in Europe.
Founded in 1968 by Giuseppe Šebesta, the museum is located in the ancient Augustinian Monastery and is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Trentino folk traditions, with particular attention to the agro-pastoral system of the Trentino mountains and rural technologies.

The museum is spread over 5 levels with a helical path that passes through 43 rooms and 25 thematic sections, displaying over 12,000 objects.
Ground Floor
On the ground floor you can find: farriery, copper foundry, wrought iron, mill, forge, nail shop and agriculture

First Floor
wedding uses, textile fibers, mountain hut, beekeeping, wood art, Venetian sawmill, wagons and sleds and forest
Second Floor

Third floor
costumes, rites of the year, music and bands, popular devotion, hunting

Cellar
In the cellar you can find the Šebesta Rooms, the Wine and Grappa Rooms and the Càneva (cellar)
Garden
In the garden, which partially surrounds the western and southern sides of the Museum, there is the stone base of a Pressing Beam Press, and the corresponding stone support base of the giant screw.
