Three beautiful waterfalls, located a short distance from each other and near Lake Garda, perfect for nature excursions, trekking, and sports activities in a typically mountainous and wooded landscape.
– Palvico Waterfall (Büs da Mort)
About 54 meters high, famous for being a popular spot for canyoning. The rays of sunlight filtering through nature are a breathtaking spectacle that will simply leave you speechless.

You can swim in the clear waters of the lake and enjoy the peace of this little corner of paradise.

You can reach it by car and then walk a few hundred meters. Once there, you’ll fully enjoy the spectacular and highly Instagrammable view of the waterfall and its adjoining beach, where you can stop in peace and bathe in the freezing water.

The more adventurous can also roped down; there are several guides who accompany tourists on the descent.

The Legend
Palvico Waterfall is also known as Büs da Mort (Hole of the Dead) due to a historical event that truly occurred during the First World War.
During the clashes between Italian Alpine troops and Austrian soldiers, several shepherds, travelers, and soldiers, pursued or retreating, fell into the ravine or became trapped in the gorges, to their deaths.
Hence the name “Hole of the Dead,” in memory of those tragic events.
– Ampola Waterfall
is located not far from Palvico Waterfall, in a very evocative natural setting.

A true gem, the water is beautiful and cool, making it very refreshing on hot summer days.

Here too, you can go for a walk on the path that runs along the stream.

The site is also of great historical interest, connected to Fort Ampola, a fortress built in the 19th century with important events linked to the Third Italian War of Independence.
Smaller but certainly no less beautiful, also known as Gac Waterfall (Gâc – Gaggio area) is located just outside the center of Storo in the Fontana Bianca Park.

After the two bridges, immediately turn left and continue to the end.

There is a beautiful playground with picnic tables, and you can enjoy the cycle paths along the Chiese River on foot or by bicycle.
