The Museum of Games and Toys located in the San Marco area tells the History of Childhood and Play through a rich collection of about 3,000 Vintage Toys, dating from the end of the eighteenth century to the present day.

A place where you can explore the ludic history, browse pages of Vintage Comics and admire Games that have entertained generations.
The collection includes Popular Games, Work Toys, Dolls, Toy Cars, Trains, Marionettes, Puppets, Fairy Tale Books, Comics, old Projectors, Reel Phonographs and Optical Instruments from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Among the rarest pieces, the first serialized edition of Pinocchio and a collection of over one hundred animated glass pieces for magic lanterns from 1870

The route is divided into sections dedicated to popular games, crafts, school, cooking, shops, science fiction, entertainment, countryside, city and space. The exhibition also includes the reconstruction of a classroom from the 1920s.
Interactive experience
Many toys are not closed in display cases, but are visible and, in some cases, can be manipulated with the help of museum staff, to encourage discovery and understanding of how they work.

Education and workshops
The museum offers creative workshops for children aged 4 to 14 and activities designed to stimulate the cognitive, artistic and manual skills of the little ones
