One of the most spectacular natural attractions in Italy and the highest artificial waterfall in Europe, with a total drop of 165 meters divided into three jumps

The Marmore Falls with its 165m, is one of the highest in Europe. It is formed at the confluence of the Velino River with the Nera River. In 271 BC the Romans began excavating the canal to collect all the waters of the marsh that covered the current Rieti plain, taking them towards the edge of the Marmore cliff, where they would then fall in a spectacular fall.
Release of water
The flow of water is regulated by floodgates and is opened at set times; when the waterfall is at full capacity, it offers an impressive and evocative spectacle.
The Rainbow is everywhere, in every body of water, especially in front of the great jump, when the water foams in the air creating a magic

An acoustic signal warns visitors of the opening of the floodgates
At night, the waterfall is illuminated by a modern LED system, offering a suggestive spectacle even after sunset
How to visit the Park
By purchasing the entrance ticket you have free access to all the paths. The ticket is valid for one day.

You can access it from both the Lower Belvedere and the Upper Belvedere, connected by panoramic paths that allow you to admire the waterfall from different perspectives.
The well-marked paths offer close-up observation points and breathtaking views.
Balcony of Lovers
One of the most exciting experiences, reachable through a tunnel dug into the rock, where you are literally a few meters from the first waterfall.

It takes about 20 minutes of walking along path no. 1 to reach it, but it’s worth it. Because the “Balcony of Lovers” is there, in front of the first jump of the Waterfall; or rather, “inside” the imposing jet of water, so much so that a raincoat is needed to stand there. It is a small terrace located at the end of the tunnel of the same name (the “Tunnel of Lovers”).
The balcony of lovers can be visited exclusively with a guided tour (purchasable both online and at the ticket offices of the Waterfall).
Butterfly House
The brand new attraction for adults and children, you can enjoy a journey among dozens of wonderful specimens that, hatching day by day in the special “nursery”, will enchant with their floating flight, will land to feed on flowers, fruits and, not infrequently, even on the visitors themselves!

Natural Park
The Waterfall can be experienced through paths immersed in lush vegetation. 6 itineraries of varying difficulty through woods, wet meadows and rich communities of moss.
Pic-nic
There are several tables with benches along the paths
