Butterflies, Insects, Parrots, Rabbits, Fairies… a living Museum that combines science, environmental education, and magic, ideal for families, nature enthusiasts, and those seeking a unique sensory experience.

The Butterfly Arc is considered one of the most important living museums and was the first Butterfly House in Italy.

The structure consists of a glass greenhouse inside which lush exotic plants (palms, banana trees, alocasias, orchids, and passion flowers) perfectly reproduce a tropical climate. Here, over 100 different species of butterflies live in complete freedom, flying and landing before the amazed eyes of visitors.

Next to the Butterfly House is the Fairy Forest, a mythological garden created to revive the enchantment of ancient legends linked to the elements of nature, which come from both Italian folk tradition and Nordic culture.

– The Butterfly House
A tropical greenhouse with Thematic Gardens immersed in the lush rainforests of Amazon, Africa, and Asia will captivate you with colors, sounds, and hundreds of free-flying butterflies.

And then many spectacular animals: from bearded dragons to large tropical insects, from colorful parakeets to the fascinating soft-shell turtle.

– The Magical Fairy Forest
It is located within a wooded park where children and adults alike are enchanted by the legends and fantastical characters that populate fantasy and popular tradition.

Fairytale characters: gnomes, elves, witches, and fairies. Among them is the Troll King, who tells short stories about the magical and invisible world, or the Gypsy Caravan, which houses a real talking Oracle, who can be consulted for wise answers in both Italian and English.
On your walk, you’ll encounter pictorial reproductions of Ogres, Goblins, and Fairies, as well as strange stones and suspicious trees that will watch you, until you reach the ancient stone labyrinth.

Cute animals like goats, bunnies, and turtles will also be waiting for you, as well as animated characters like the King of the Trolls and the talking Oracle inside the Gypsy Caravan.

– Sacred trees: oak, yew, and rowan, linked to Druid tradition
– Aquatica: section dedicated to aquatic ecosystems
– Aviary of tropical moths
The Fairy Forest hosts children’s events such as the Spring Festival and the Halloween Party, full of entertainment, games, storytelling, and face painting!
We have numerous outdoor picnic areas (including covered ones) where you can enjoy snacks and packed lunches, as well as a Refreshment area where you can purchase drinks, ice cream, and snacks.

Inside the Fairy Forest there is a playground for children.
All our paths are accessible to people with mobility disabilities, for whom we also offer a discounted entrance fee.
Your four-legged friends are allowed in the greenhouse only if they are small in size and can be held by their owners. Butterfly Arc offers a dog sitting service.
