The ultimate Cruising Experience along the Brenta River, it was and still is the one and only Grand Touring Line Service along the Riviera

The Burchiello, every year, from March to October, a romantic mini-cruise among the Venetian Villas of the Brenta Riviera, from Padua to Venice and vice versa, amidst art and history, along the route of the ancient 18th-century Venetian Burchiello.

The Burchiello was a typical Venetian passenger vessel, equipped with a large wooden cabin, three or four balconies, and finely crafted and decorated.
It was used by the wealthiest Venetian classes to reach their villas in the countryside from the city.
As in the past, the Burchiello, as a scheduled tourist service, still travels along the Brenta River Riviera from Padua to Venice and vice versa. Heir to ancient traditions, it slowly glides along the Brenta River, while onboard guides illustrate the history, culture, and art of the Brenta Villas.

A modern and comfortable vessel, equipped with a cabin with comfortable sofas, a panoramic deck that allows guests maximum visibility, air-conditioned cabin, bar, and restrooms.

An suggestive mini-cruise which, crossing nine swing bridges and five locks—actual “water elevators”—allows guests to ascend or descend the 10-meter water difference between Padua and Venice, ending the journey in Venice amidst the stunning marble backdrop of St. Mark’s Basin or in Padua at the historic 16th-century Burchiello Staircase.

Il Burchiello cruise programs include sailing from Padua to Venice (with intermediate stops in Stra, Dolo, Mira, Oriago, Malcontenta, Fusina) and vice versa.
