The Monte Berico Terrace is located in front of the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Monte Berico, located atop the hill of the same name overlooking the city of Vicenza.
The panoramic viewpoint, called Piazzale della Vittoria, is a spectacular natural balcony from which you can admire a wide and evocative view of the city of Vicenza, the foothills, the Lessini Mountains, the upper Vicenza area with Mount Pasubio, the Piccole Dolomiti, the Asiago plateau, and all the way to Mount Grappa.
At sunset or in golden light, the view becomes particularly evocative and romantic.
Along the parapet, there are signs indicating the various directions by air.
Binoculars are also available for a fee, and are located nearby.
The site also has historical and religious value, being located near the Sanctuary founded in the 15th century following Marian apparitions, considered the patron saint of the city of Vicenza.
